How Do I Get Started?

To get started, register for a free account. After registration, we will send you a verification email. Clam 9 will never request your personal information or payment and will include our contact details in all emails. Click the link in the email, just fill out your profile to receive 20 free bids and now, you’re ready to play! Just choose the auction you want and start bidding! You can buy additional bid packs at any time.

How Much Does a Bid Cost?

Bids cost as little as 6.28 baht each and 9.09 baht each. You can lower your cost per bid by buying larger bid packages. The bigger is the cheaper. You can buy bids using credit card, debit card, cash value cards, counter service or direct transfer.

What Types of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept E-Banking, Visa and Master Card, PayPal, Paysbuy, debit card, cash value cards, counter service or direct transfer.

How Do I Bid?

Bidding on Clam 9 is easy:

If you haven’t already, Register for an account and click the link in the verification email – be sure to fill your profile and you will receive 20 free bids.

2. Buy a Bid Package

Each bid costs no more than 9.09 baht and as low as 6.28 baht. Bids are available for purchase in many convenient packages.

Now that you have bids in your account, click the item you want to win from our selection of new and exciting luxury products.

4. Bid and Win!

Start bidding by clicking the BID button! Each bid increases the purchase price by ONLY 0.20 Baht! Watch the clock, keep bidding and be the highest bidder when the timer counts down to 0:00.

How Much Time is Added After Each Bid?

When the timer reaches 10 seconds or less, each additional bid will add 10 seconds to the auction timer.

How Do I Earn Free Bids?

Clam 9 players can earn free bids in a number of ways:

Register as a player and get 20 bids
Refer a friend to Clam 9 and get 9 bids when your friend buys any bid package
Make a winner’s testimonial that’s accepted and get 20 bids
Daily Login Bonus - each user will be automatically awarded 5 free bids once a day just for logging in to Clam9
Birthday Bonus for every user that correctly completes or registers with Facebook will be automatically awarded 20 free bids for their birthday

Why Didn’t I Get My Free Bids When I Invited My Friend(s)?

Bids are awarded to you if your friends register an account using the email address that you used in the “Invite a Friend” section of your account. You can check the status of your invites by using the “My Invites” sections of your account.

Once your friend has successfully created an account with Clam 9 and purchased a bid pack, your account will be credited with 9 bids.

What types of Auctions are there?

Clam 9 offers 2 other types of auctions:

Beginner Auction
A Beginner Auction is reserved for users who have not yet had a chance to win an auction. You may use either free bids or purchased bids to play in a Beginner Auction. As soon as you win your first auction you will be no longer qualified to participate in Beginner Auctions. Please note that you are required to pay for the item's final price and shipping as is the case in all of Clam9's auctions.
Premium Auction
Premium Auction Features a very high quality item, that is available to limited amount of bidders. Any bidder who wishes to participate must reserve a seat by buying a ticket for an upfront fee, however the bidder does not have to pay for bids. In Premium Auctions every is issued the same amount of bids, there is no auto-bidder, its so fair for everyone with great chances to win!

What is Buy it Now/You got it

You never have to walk away empty handed from Clam9 Buy It Now auctions.

Buy It Now allows you to buy the auctioned product using 100% of the value of the paid bids you have already spent in that auction. It gives you the option to purchase the product by paying the difference between the value of your spent bids in that auction and the product value.

All free bids such as:

All bids awarded on registration
All bids awarded on login
All bids awarded for daily bonus or birthday bonus
All bids awarded for testimonials and referrals
All bids for Bid Packages auctions won
All free bids given for any other reason not listed

By clicking on “Buy It Now ” you can buy the product at any time when the auction is online, and up to 2 hours after the auction has closed.

When you decide to buy the product you will no longer be able to take part in the auction, and any auto-bidder you have placed on that auction will be canceled and the remaining Auto-bidder bids returned to your bid account. The auction will continue uninterrupted for all other users.

PLEASE NOTE: You can only use the value of your placed bids up to the product value.

You Got It is activated when the value of your placed bids is higher than the product value by 110% then the Clam9 feature You Got It will not allow you to bid further! The You Got it feature protects users from investing too much on a given auction without reward. You will prompted to claim the price at whatever the purchase price was when you reached 110% (exclude shipping price which depend on weight of product.) At Clam9, we want everyone to have a great experience

Win limits

At Clam9, we always do our best to ensure that each one of our members has an equal opportunity to become one of our lucky winners and that not only a limited few keep winning. One way to make sure of this is by limiting the number of auctions a user can win within a 30 day period to eight (8) and/or 3 wins in a 24 period. This limit is only effective for items with a value of 5,000 baht or more.

Are Clam 9’s Products Authentic?

Yes. All of our products are brand new and 100% authentic. We ship all products in their original packaging.

I Won an Auction, Now What?

Congratulations on your win!

Once an auction comes to an end, we will send the winner an email confirming the auction win and providing the details of what to do next. You will be asked to verify the shipping address and to pay for the auction item via our easy checkout system. Once payment is received, the item will be shipped to you. Winners have 1 days after an auction ends to pay for the item, otherwise the next highest bidder will have the chance to buy the product at the final auction price. You can pay for your products with PayPal, Paysbuy, Credit Card, Debit Card, Cash Value Card, Counter Service, Loyalty Points, Bids or direct transfer.

How Much is Shipping? Is it Free?

We will ship at a nominal service fee. We use only ThaiPost EMS or Messenger Service. Most products will incur a shipping cost of 50, 100, 500 or 1000 baht, depending on their weight. Over-size items may incur higher shipping fees.

How Long Until My Item Ships?

We know our players are excited to receive the won products as soon as possible. So, we will ship products within 48 hours of receiving the payment confirmation. Delivery times may vary but you can expect to receive your item within 9 business days from time of payment. You will receive an email notification when your order has been processed and another email when your item ships.

Can I Pick Up My Item?

Yes you can pick up the item, contact a Clam9 Administrator to make an appointment. In order to pick up an item you will be required to take video and/or picture of you with the item and please be aware that shipping costs cannot be refunded.

Can I Get a Refund on an Item I Have Won?

Yes, you can receive a refund if the product was damaged in shipping or if the product does not match the description in the auction. The winner must contact a Clam9 Administrator within 5 days of delivery to begin processing the refund.

The product must be in its original packaging, not used and not damaged through misuse or neglect.

Contact our Customer Service Team (support@clam9.com) for details on returning a product. Please make sure to include the auction ID and your user name.

Once your refund has been processed, we will credit your bid balance with the number of bids used to win that refunded auction and the final auction price you paid.

Can I Get a Refund on My Unused Bids If I Decide to Close My Account?

No. All bid purchases are final. Unused bids cannot be returned for a refund.

Why didn’t auction show my name when I am the highest bidder at the moment?

Usually, as soon as you “Bid” you will automatically be put at the top as the highest bidder. But in the case that you run into an incident that your name doesn’t appear to be the highest bidder, there is the possibility that there are other bidders or Auto-bidders that happen to “Bid” at the exact same moment that you had Bid.

In order to make your bidding most effective, we suggest that

We strongly advise you to use Autobid, the Autobid function will help you save the bid amount and always ensure that you are the highest bidder for that particular item. Autobid also helps you bid in different auction in the same time. In case where there are many bidders of the same auction, we suggest you select another auction that has fewer competitors to increase your chance of winning.

However, whether you're bidding manually or using the auto bid feature you should be aware and check your bid balance often to prevent yourself from running out of bids.

What is the Loyalty Program?

Clam 9 offers Rewards Points for each time you place a purchased bid in an auction that you did not win, you will receive 1 reward Point. These points may be accumulated and redeemed in our Reward Store, to purchase exciting products, bid packs, to use in lucky draw entries, to apply to price of future items won or future promotions.
